Mission Statement

Veterans, frst responders, fre fighters, paramedics, nurses, doctors, dispatchers, corrections and others who struggle daily with PTSD, depression, family strain, and a sense of isolation that can feel overwhelming. Too often, those who dedicated their lives to serving others nd themselves without the support they need when the uniform comes o.

Our mission is to leave no one behind. We are more than a retreat; we are a family. Our purpose is to create a safe haven where people of service can gather, heal, and rediscover their strength together.

We believe true healing begins with connection: connection to self, to others, and to something larger than ourselves.Thin Line Retreat is built on the foundation that no warrior should ght their battles in silence, and that by standing together, we can transform pain into resilience and isolation into community.

Faith is a cornerstone of healing, for many who have served their country and communities, the struggles of trauma, loss, and isolation can leave them questioning their sense of purpose. By creating a place of refuge, we oer a space where faith can be restored, where individuals can reconnect with hope, and where the light of renewal shines brighter than the weight of the past. Faith reminds us that no one is ever truly alone, and through it, lives can be rebuilt with courage and dignity.

At Thin Line Retreat, we recognize that healing and growth do not happen in isolation. That’s why, as our program grows, we will extend our retreats to include kids and signicant others. Families face the eects of stress, trauma, and long hours together, and by engaging the whole family, we can foster stronger bonds and healthier relationships. Through communication workshops, stress management strategies, and shared activities, we will create an environment where everyone feels supported. Our approach ensures that when one person heals, the entire family grows stronger—because in this journey, we are in it together.

who we serve

The men and women who serve are the backbone of our communities. They stand ready to protect, heal, and help others—often at great personal cost. Their work doesn’t stop when the shift ends; it follows them home, weighing on their minds and hearts. These individuals run toward danger, comfort the hurting, and keep our communities safe. Thin Line Retreat exists to give them the same care and support they have always given to others—because the people who serve every day deserve a place to heal every day.
